Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Atlas (the "Bot") and its web dashboard (the "Dashboard", together the "Service"). By inviting the Bot to a Discord server, logging into the Dashboard, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Atlas is a moderation and community-management bot for Discord. It provides automated moderation, case tracking, tickets, appeals, staff permission management, and related features, accessible both through Discord slash commands and this Dashboard.
2. Discord Account & Access
The Dashboard authenticates you through Discord OAuth2. Access to a given server's data on the Dashboard is limited to users who hold the appropriate permission on that server, as configured by that server's staff. We are not responsible for how an individual server configures or grants that access.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines;
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person;
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any permission, rate-limit, or security control of the Service.
4. Moderation Actions
Server staff who are granted access may take moderation actions (warns, timeouts, kicks, bans, and similar) against members of their own server through the Service. These actions are taken by that server's staff, under their own server's rules — the Service is a tool for them, and we do not review or approve individual moderation decisions.
5. Availability & Changes
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including individual features, at any time.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, for any account or server, at our discretion — including for violation of these Terms or of Discord's own policies. A server can remove the Bot at any time by kicking it from that server.
7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including moderation actions taken by server staff using the Service.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be directed to a server's staff, or through the Bot's support server.
